Objectives
- To provide students with academic
support to reinforce and enhance their learning.
- To increase student academic
achievement.
- To promote critical thinking and
conceptualization skills.
- To increase students’ ability to
transfer learning from one situation to another.
- To foster independent and active

- To provide academic writing
assistance and paper consultation to help prepare students for writing their
CRP/dissertation.
- To empower students with the
knowledge and skills needed to accomplish their academic goals.
- To provide increased
communication between faculty members and students.
- To maintain a friendly
student-centered learning environment that promotes diversity, academic success,
and life-long learning.
- To increase students’ awareness
of ethical issues such as plagiarism and academic honesty.
- To help students develop
intellectually, psychologically, and personally while they gain a firm sense of
maturity, self-confidence and authority.
- To provide an alternate testing
location for make-up tests and/or proctor extended-time exams for students with
disabilities.
