Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to check out books?

All you need is your Argosy University picture ID to verify that you are a current full-time, or part-time student. Alumni are also allowed limited borrowing privileges. See the library policies for more information about alumni borrowing.

Where are all the books?

A number of books that were old, outdated, and otherwise not circulated in a long time were removed from the collection. The books currently on the shelves are either considered seminal works and classics, or are more recent books relevant to the courses and subject areas taught at Argosy Chicago. Most books in the collection are now online. Also, please note the business, education, and research methods books are now located in the ALC (Academic Learning Center).

How do I find what I need in the library?

Most resources including full-text articles, articles abstracts, e-books, full-text dissertations and other resources are available through the student portal online library.
